Come As You Are: Season 2 Episode 13

I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend!

I’m super late posting today because I’ve been so busy trying to finish my newest song (which I give you a peek of at the end!) I wanted to have it done by tonight to upload tomorrow, but it’s just not quite there yet AND I also need to create cover art for it and I have been drawing blanks. So I had to reset, realize I’m not on any “real” timeline and give myself few more days to get it right rather than rush it and be unhappy with it.

I heard something this morning about releasing the personal attachment to your art, and I speak about it in the episode at length, or at least it feels like I did. But maybe I just mention it, 😆 either way, if you struggle with sharing your own artwork or writing or creative work, you might want to listen because it helped allow me to see myself as separate from the work rather than worrying about the outcome, if that makes any sense at all.

I dunno, I’m a bit all over the place at the moment, but I THINK I spoke with some linear purpose in the video 😂 at least I hope I did.

I also am itching to start writing again, so I may start a new series here after I finish this song and release it. I’m so focused on music right now, but due to the noise-factor and recording, I can’t do much in the daytime, so it would be the perfect time to start a new writing project… but again, who even knows what is time or reality anymore. We are currently treading in some strange reality (of which I am mostly ignoring and staying perfectly isolated in my own little house of art and music). Maybe I’m going insane? It’s possible I guess.
